We all want to be better networkers and achieve success in our network marketing recruiting efforts. However whether you cold-call or use the web to generate leads you are going to have answer your prospects concerns. Leads generated or purchased will have a series of questions to ask you. Although your prospect is asking certain questions are you really addressing their underlying concerns? Can you really pass your prospect’s test?

Your prospect really wants to know three simple things. Although these questions come in many different shapes in and forms, addressing your prospects underlying concerns will greatly increase your recruiting success. These three concerns are:  whether you care, whether you can lead, and whether you can train. If you can sufficiently answer all three, you will increase the likelihood of your prospect joining your business.

Do You Care?

Your prospect will share their goals with you. Goals both personal and financial are a very intimate thing for your prospects. Prospects want to know that you care about their goals not just your own when asking them to take a financial risk when joining your business. Some people have been burned in network marketing before and are deep down want you to prove that this time will be different than the last company.  So take time to get to know your prospect so you don’t come across as the slimy sales guy with the toothpick and silk shirt.

Can you lead?

Your prospect also wants to know if you can lead. Prospects will talk over you  and ask you questions before you finish your sentence. They are really asking whether you are a strong enough leader to lead them to their own goals. Nobody wants to follow Clark Kent, the hero is Superman. So if you are battling the Super Villains of your prospects misconceptions of Network Marketing, the job calls for Superman. Clark can stay at the Daily Planet. So when you are challenged by your prospect. Re-establish your leadership and address your prospects underlying concern of your leadership skill.

Can You Train?

Your Prospect wants to know if you can teach them how to achieve success. Although the definition varies from person to person, your prospect wants to know whether joining you in your company will teach them how achieve success. They want to know if you have the support mechanisms in place to help them make money quickly. They don’t want to learn a whole bunch of psycho mumbo jumbo. No your prospects want to do what works and learn how you do it. The main concern here is can you keep it simple for them.

If you can address these three main underlying concerns of your prospects you will greatly increase your network marketing recruiting success. Be the Superman (or Wonder Woman) who cares and can teach others simply what works. To do this you will need a system to both train and filter out prospects who are kryptonite for your business.
